:so since i killed father b4 he spoke.shaun never spoke again. so i wont get main RR quests or something? cause i tried to take them the holotape, but dez didnt take it. So now i cant do the railroad way? only minutemen or BOS cause i didnt hear father out? i still got a quest from P.A.M. Killing him only prevents you from completing the game with the Institute and Railroad, you'll still have the options with Minutemen or Brotherhood. You don't need Father alive to attack the Institute. To be honest I may try that on a second play through and see what happens.
But I could be wrong since killing him like that is an option. I haven't completed the main story yet but I assume that with Father dead you won't be able to complete the main story. When I went back to Sanctuary, where I built mine, it was destroyed and can't be used and can't be rebuilt. But I am pretty sure that the teleporter is a 'one and done' item.
